SYNOPSIS

The story unfolds in the dying remnants of the Vanara, a forest at the end of time.

This is home to two rival tribes: the Kogallisk and the Pana. Tribes with a delicate and symbiotic relationship. The Kogallisk create; the Pana hunt. However, the peace between them is uneasy. There are growing tensions and resentments between the young warriors of each tribe.

Amidst this desperate landscape, we meet Ayla, a young Kogallisk princess, betrothed to Rooh; a man she doesn’t love. A man she suspects has more interest in the power of the throne than he does in her.

Ayla's world is turned upside-down when she falls in love with Mohr, a member of the rival Pana tribe. This love story is fraught with tension as Ayla negotiates the treacherous waters of tribal politics, personal loyalties, and the impending doom of their forest home. A love story that turns to distrust, heart break, and tragedy when her brother is murdered and her lover, Mohr, is blamed for the crime.

As the endless night approaches, each tribe prepares for war. Revenge and retribution blind them to the approaching apocalypse. The ambitious Rooh drives hatred amongst the Kogallisk to fever pitch and undermines their faith in Ayla. She is cast out, isolated, and heart broken.

Unsure of who to trust Ayla is forced to face the full burden of being a Queen. She sees war coming between the two tribes and is determined to prevent it.

She rushes to the battle. The two tribes are at each other’s throats. It seems all is lost. But when Ayla’s mother, the old Queen, is slain, the fighting stops. Ayla is able to use this tragic moment to reach out to the members of both tribes. She comes into her power as the new Queen and begs the people of both tribes to come to their senses, to see the folly of fighting.

But she is met with resistance, particularly from Rooh, who is hell-bent on maintaining his newfound power. Despite the opposition, Ayla's leadership, and her message of unity brings people to her side. One after another the Kogallisk and Pana choose peace and unite behind her.

In a climactic confrontation, Ayla confronts Rooh and steps into her power. She reveals him for the blood-thirsty, warmonger he really is.

Ayla, now leading the newly united Vanara tribe, embarks on a journey towards the South, in search of new lands and a brighter future. As they depart, Ayla and Mohr share a moment of hope and promise, symbolizing their commitment to each other and their people.

"Ayla" is a powerful exploration of love, betrayal, survival, and unity against the backdrop of an impending apocalypse. The story pulls at the heartstrings, exploring the emotional turmoil of its characters as they grapple with their fears, regrets, and loyalties. It underscores the power of unity and the strength of a determined leader in the face of adversity, making "Ayla" an unforgettable tale of courage and redemption.
